Within the project “Fundamentals of Environmental Legislation and Mechanisms in the Service of Citizens’ Associations”, funded by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia (FOSM), ZOR Milieukontakt Macedonia invites you to participate in a training on “Climate Change” which will be held on June 6, 2022 (Monday), starting at 1 pm, on the Zoom platform.
This is the first of the six trainings planned to be realized within the concept “Green Leap – Partnerships for Climate Action” of FOSM to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations to use the rights and opportunities provided by environmental legislation, and with the aim to increase their involvement in creating opinions and decisions at the local level.
The training aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of climate change and climate action, as well as to acquaint participants with the content and implementation of international conventions and agreements on climate change. Also, during the training, examples of measures for climate change mitigation (MITIGATION) and measures for adaptation and resistance to climate change (ADAPTATION) will be presented.
