The Foundation Open Society-Macedonia and the Foundation for Educational and Cultural Initiatives “Step by Step” have the honor to invite you to the traditional event Speech4Teach, which is organized within the project “Education of the Lesser Ethnic Communities”.

This year the event is held online on the topic of mental health in order to emphasize the need for prevention from an early age and the importance of involving all stakeholders (state institutions, school administration, teachers, professional service and parents) which will enable the creation safe environments for students and available programs to develop socio-emotional skills, but also timely and accessible support for all who need it.

The event will share the first of three planned educational videos, “TALKING ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH”, in which experts and practitioners give their views on the need for mental health and its importance for human, physical and social capital in the community. The speakers are: Prof. Dimitar Bonevski, PhD, Prim. Dr. Mary Boskovska, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Karovska, Prof. Dr. Ognen Spasovski, psychologist Ana Poprizova and psychotherapist Radmila Zivanovic. After the video screening, there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and a short discussion will follow.
