The Foundation Open Society – Macedonia in partnership with the Association Center for Educational Support “Dendo Vas” and the Foundation for Educational and Cultural Initiatives “Step by Step” on October 14, 2022 (Friday), starting at 12:00, in hall 3 in the Hotel Alexander Palace in Skopje organize the closing event of the project “Stay at School: Action for Inclusion of Roma in Primary Education”.
The purpose of the event is to commemorate the three-year project and the results achieved in it through the presentation of short videos, a brochure and speeches from some of the users and collaborators who participated in the project.
The event will be addressed by the Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri, a representative from the Delegation of the European Union, the executive director of the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia Fani Karanfilova-Panovska, the director of the “Brakja Ramiz-Hamid” elementary school Alvin Salimovski and the support assistant of the community in Bitola, Ramadan Rustemov.
The event will be opened and followed by a performance by a group of students from the “Brakja Ramiz-Hamid” elementary school and the Roma Rock School band.
