On February 22, 2022, the first joint working meeting was held between the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia (FOSM), the expert team and representatives of the partner municipalities of Kičevo, Berovo, Valandovo, Šuto Orizari and Kavadarci within the project “Strengthened Integrity Systems for Combating Corruption at the Local Level”.

At the meeting, the expert team composed of German Filkov, Sabina Fakikj, prof. Ana Pavlovska-Daneva and Konstantin Bitrakov presented the “Methodology for risk assessment of the integrity of local self-government units and preparation of integrity plans”. The methodology provides an operational framework for the preparation of integrity risk assessments and integrity plans. This process is implemented in several phases and steps and it is based on cooperation, trust and understanding between all stakeholders.

This activity is part of the project “Strengthened Integrity Systems for Combating Corruption at the Local Level”, implemented by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia, and is part of the USAID Civic Engagement Project.
