As part of the activity “For a municipality without corruption!”, the association Multikultura (Tetovo) in cooperation with the Municipality of Želino created a legal corner that will serve the citizens of this municipality as an address for seeking legal advice and assistance, as well as support for reporting corruption and conflict of interest.

Every Tuesday from 14:00 to 16:00, the citizens will be able to have direct meetings with a lawyer from Multikultura in the legal corner in the premises of the municipality of Želino. Additionally, every working day from 12:00 to 15:00, the citizens will have the opportunity to receive free legal advice for addressing and reporting corruption and conflict of interest in their municipality, on the phone number +389 70 858 144.

The Association Multikultura (Tetovo), together with the civil society organizations All for fair trials (Skopje), Izbor (Strumica), EcHO (Štip), PET Station (Prilep) will provide legal aid to citizens who have recognized and want to report corruption and conflict of interest with a special focus on the municipalities of Želino, Karpoš, Dojran, Ohrid and Prilep.

The cooperation with these civil society organizations and their activities are part of the project “Strengthened Integrity Systems for Combating Corruption at the Local Level”, implemented by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia within the USAID Civic Engagement Project.
