Organized by the Network for Prevention of Brain Drain on 21 October 2020 a final conference took place with the title: “How did the institutions deal with the brain drain 2013-2020?”. The analysis of the implementation of the National Strategy for Cooperation and Prevention of Brain Drain of Young and High-Quality Staff 2013-2020 was presented at the conference. Within the conference, a panel discussion was held “What policies do we need to reduce brain drain?”.  Speakers were: Milan Zivkovic – Special Adviser for Labor and Social Policy in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister and MPs Timcho Mucunski and Darko Kaevski.

The conference is organized within the project “Network for Prevention of Brain Drain” financially supported by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia in the period September 2019 – October 2020. The Network for Prevention of Brain Drain is an informal network consisting of seven civil society organizations working in various fields related to youth development, youth policies and rights, as well as youth information. The purpose of the Network is to encourage the creation of systemic solutions for the retention of young people in the country.
