The Foundation Open Society – Macedonia conducted a study focusing on the education of the smaller ethnic communities in the country – Turkish, Roma, Serbian, Vlach and Bosnian communities. The subject of analysis is the education in the language of instruction of the communities, as well as the optional subject Language and Community Culture.
This analysis aims to explore and open a discussion on, among other things, how the measures for education in the languages of the smaller communities are set, what is the degree of implementation of instruction in the language of the smaller ethnic communities, what challenges does the implementation of these measures face, are there any obstacles and difficulties, but also what are the prospects.
