As part of the project “Adequate Housing Policies and Practices” on 28 January 2020, the National Roma Centrum presented the research report “I have the right to live in an urban environment” which contains information on the situation with legalized Roma homes.
The activities of the project implemented by the National Roma Centrum are related to the right to legalize Roma homes, and they were implemented through several different channels, but still adapted to the situation related to Covid-19. The project provided information to the citizens related to the current processes, rules and legal regulations for legalization, as well as for the proposals for possible adoption of the new law on legalization.
