The Network for Protection against Discrimination within the project “Promotion of policies and practices for protection against discrimination and promotion of equality” which is supported by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia, published the latest quarterly discrimination newsletter.

Unequal treatment of a particular person or group of persons because of their personal characteristics constitutes discrimination. The grounds, type and areas in which discrimination is prohibited are most closely covered by the Law on Prevention and Protection against Discrimination.

Accepting diversity and protecting against discrimination are very important for the progress of any society. For these reasons, the Network for Protection against Discrimination monitors cases of discrimination, the activities of the state and other citizens’ associations in the area of ​​prevention and protection against discrimination. The newsletter displays observation data over a quarter.
