The “Stay Home” artistic action, created by a group of artists and activists, aims to help citizens persevere in physical isolation and minimize their movement in these moments when isolation is perhaps the most effective way to fight the epidemic. To represent this intervention, they chose slippers that are synonymous of staying in the house as an inevitable part of “home fashion” during isolation.
With this action as well as with the previous one (“Keep distance”), the artists want to encourage the citizens to endure in this very important battle for all of us, but also to show that art and culture are here to support the citizens and that we must all be united to get our lives back on track. As before, this action is dedicated to the health workers who sacrifice themselves every day for a better tomorrow for all of us.
The action was made without any direct contact among the members of the group, i.e. it was done in stages and sequentially by different authors.
