On February 24, 2022, starting at 11 am, the Platform of Civil Society Organizations for Combating Corruption will organize an event to present the analysis “Mapping the risks of corruption in the environment”, “Anti-corruption review of the Law on Environment” and “Analysis on the equality of the delivered health services in the different Covid-19 Centers ”, prepared with financial support from the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia.
The discussion aims to present the findings of the analysis and to summarize the events that took place in 2021 in two risky areas of corruption: environment and health. At the same time, this will be an opportunity to review the possible challenges that await us.
In 2021, the main focus of the Platform was the monitoring of corruption in two key areas: health and the environment, for which several activities are planned. The focused action of the Platform on two vulnerable areas – health and environment will contribute to greater cooperation with other civic networks and institutions and works towards advancing policies in the areas and mutual capacity building. At the same time, it will contribute to the inclusion of an anti-corruption approach in the sectoral analysis for planning reforms in the areas of environment and health.
The conference will be held online, on the Zoom platform, on February 24, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
