On March 28, 2022, the Executive Director of the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia Fani Karanfilova-Panovska met with the Minister of Information Society and Administration Admirim Aliti, in order to deepen the joint efforts in the process of the Open Government Partnership for the promotion of transparency, support for civic engagement, the fight against corruption and the use of new technologies.
The importance of the Council for Coordination and Monitoring of the Open Government Partnership process 2021 – 2023 and the Network of Civil Society Organizations for the Open Government Partnership were discussed at the meeting, as important mechanisms for structural dialogue between civil society and authorities, citizens and other stakeholders.
Special attention was also paid to the cooperation with the civil society and the use of their capacities in the current process of state reorganization and the creation of the new Reform Strategy for Public Administration.
