“Glasen Tekstilec” prepared an infographic for the period from 1 July 2020 to 3 June 2021, which shows the work of the institutions in times of Covid-19. See it below:
The infographic was created as part of the activities of the project “Response to the socio-economic effects of COVID – 19 by supporting vulnerable groups of low paid workers, workers who are part of the informal economy and temporary workers.” At the same time, within the project, the legal team of “Glasen Tekstilec” provided legal aid to workers from the private (textile sector), whose employment rights were violated during the health and economic crisis caused by Covid – 19. With the legal aid, 4,858 textile workers were covered in the given period. Most often, private-sector workers faced payment of below the minimum wage and non-payment of wages. Many employers abused state aid for payment of wages, as well as disregarded measures, Decrees and the Labor Law.
