The Executive Board of the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia has selected 15 projects of civil society organizations for the implementation of activities that will contribute to a better understanding of the process of accession of the Republic of North Macedonia to the European Union.

The total amount of the grants is $ 103.669.

This grant scheme is part of the concept Civil Society Participation in the EU Accession Process, which is designed with the overall aim of supporting reform processes in the areas of the fight against corruption, the judiciary and preventing and protecting against discrimination, as priorities in the EU accession process.

In order to increase the flow of information and improve citizens’ understanding of the reform processes during EU accession, the project activities will be aimed at raising citizens’ awareness of the importance of speeding up the accession process as well as improved capacities for understanding the reform processes for Europeanization of society.

The selected grantees will participate in a joint campaign, developed by FOSM, to increase the flow of information related to the EU accession process.
