We share the second quarterly Newsletter on discrimination of the Network for Protection against Discrimination for the period April – June 2021.

Unequal treatment of a particular person or group of persons because of their personal characteristics constitutes discrimination. The grounds, type and areas in which discrimination is prohibited are covered in detail in the Law on Prevention and Protection against Discrimination.

Accepting diversity and protecting against discrimination are very important for the progress of any society. For these reasons, the Network for Protection against Discrimination monitors cases of discrimination, the activities of the state and other citizens’ associations in the area of prevention and protection against discrimination. The Newsletter displays observation data over a quarter.

The Newsletter is financially supported by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia within the project “Network for Protection against Discrimination: Joint Action for the Promotion of Equality and Social Justice of Marginalized Communities”.
